Loving family looking for a Part-Time Nanny / House Assistant
Hardworking, loving, and communicative parents are seeking a nanny/family assistant to care for their two children (3 years old and 1 year old) and become an integral part of their family support system.
We're looking for someone dependable, proactive, who communicates openly, takes initiative, and provides a nurturing, developmentally focused environment.
Start Date: Mid-September
Schedule: 28 guaranteed hours per week
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (one child + house assistant duties)
- Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM (full childcare responsibilities)
- Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (full childcare responsibilities)
Additional evening and weekend hours may be available as needed.
Compensation: $27–$29/hour
Benefits
- 5 PTO days per year (advance notice requested)
- 2 paid sick days per year
Responsibilities include a split between childcare and house assistant duties:
Childcare Responsibilities
- Follow the children's eating and nap schedules.
- Prepare meals and snacks.
- Read books and engage in age-appropriate, developmentally focused activities.
- Encourage outdoor play and active engagement.
- Take the children on outings such as playgrounds, the zoo, children's museum, library story time, and other enriching activities.
Family Assistant Responsibilities
- Family laundry.
- Unload the dishwasher.
- Change the children's bed sheets.
- Chop fruits and vegetables for the week.
- Tidy common living areas.
- Restock diapers and wipes.
- Wipe down kitchen surfaces.
- Receive pre-planned deliveries (groceries, Target orders, etc.) scheduled by the parents.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
