Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in public accounting. You will work directly with experienced accountants and partners while assisting with tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, payroll, and client support.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns under supervision
Assist with bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance for business clients
Prepare bank and account reconciliations
Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting workpapers
Process payroll and payroll tax filings
Work with clients to obtain financial information and answer routine questions
Organize client documentation and maintain electronic files
Learn accounting software and tax applications used by the firm
Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or expected graduation within six months)
CPA eligibility or intention to pursue CPA license preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
