Position Summary
The Aesthetic & Wellness Provider plays a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while helping build and grow refreshMD into the premier destination for aesthetic and wellness medicine.
This position is ideal for a motivated, entrepreneurial provider who is passionate about aesthetics, patient relationships, and continuous learning. Beyond performing treatments, this individual will help establish a thriving patient base, contribute to practice growth, and deliver an exceptional patient experience that reflects the refreshMD brand.
The ideal candidate is confident, personable, clinically skilled, and committed to providing safe, natural-looking results while educating patients and developing long-term treatment plans. Candidates with wellness medicine experience—including hormone optimization, weight management, peptides, and IV therapy—are highly desirable, although training may be available for the right individual.
Core Responsibilities
Patient Consultations & Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic and wellness consultations, evaluations, and individualized treatment planning, including implementation of the practice's Beauty Maintenance Planning philosophy.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on patient anatomy, goals, lifestyle, and long-term outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, expected results, risks, benefits, maintenance, and post-treatment care.
- Deliver a luxury, personalized patient experience that promotes trust, satisfaction, and long-term relationships.
- Maintain timely communication and follow-up with patients throughout their treatment journey.
Injectable Treatments
Perform aesthetic injectable procedures within scope of practice, competency, and physician-approved protocols, including:
- Neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®)
- Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers.
- Sculptra®
- Radiesse®
- Other physician-approved injectable treatments
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver safe, consistent, natural-looking results.
- Perform comprehensive facial assessments.
- Customize treatment plans to each patient's anatomy and goals.
- Recognize and appropriately manage complications while collaborating with supervising physicians when necessary.
Aesthetic Procedures
Perform or become proficient in physician-approved aesthetic services including:
- Microneedling
- Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling
- HydraFacial®
- Medical-grade chemical peels
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- CO2 Laser (if laser certified, as needed)
- Other technologies introduced by the practice
Maintain competency through ongoing education and manufacturer certification.
Wellness Services *Preferred (Not Required)
Provide wellness services within licensure and competency, including:
- Vitamin injections
- Intramuscular therapies
- IV nutrient therapy
- Ozone therapy
- Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT/HRT)
- Medical weight management
- GLP-1 therapy
- Peptide therapy
- Functional and preventative medicine
- Wellness consultations and longitudinal patient management
Social Media & Brand Development
- Actively represent and promote the refreshMD brand through consistent social media engagement.
- Create and publish at least one social media post during each workday, including educational, treatment, behind-the-scenes, or lifestyle content.
- Collaborate with the refreshMD marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand standards and supports practice marketing initiatives.
- Utilize Instagram Collaboration ("Collab") posts so content is shared between your professional account and refreshMD.
- Participate in photography, videography, and other marketing initiatives, including providing content that may be featured or boosted on refreshMD's social media channels.
Practice Growth & Business Development
- Build and maintain a loyal patient base through exceptional outcomes and service.
- Actively participate in patient retention initiatives, referrals, and membership growth.
- Follow up with prospective and existing patients to support treatment, acceptance and continuity of care.
- Participate in community events, educational seminars, open houses, and promotional activities.
- Assist with creating educational content, social media, before-and-after photography, and marketing initiatives when requested.
- Demonstrate an ownership mentality by actively contributing ideas that improve patient experience and practice growth.
- Help establish workflows, best practices, and operational excellence within a growing practice.
Documentation & Compliance
- Obtain informed consent prior to all procedures.
- Accurately document consultations, treatments performed, products used, patient education, and follow-up recommendations in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain complete and timely documentation that meets legal, regulatory, and practice standards.
- Protect patient confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians and leadership regarding patient care, treatment planning, and clinical quality.
Professional Expectations
- Practice within the scope of licensure and in accordance with all applicable Georgia laws, regulations, and clinic protocols.
- Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
- Stay current on advances in aesthetic medicine, wellness therapies, devices, and injectable techniques.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability, adaptability, and teamwork in a fast-growing environment.
- Present a polished, professional appearance consistent with the refreshMD brand.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture while supporting fellow team members and practice goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Georgia RN, NP, or PA license in good standing.
- Formal training in aesthetic injectables (neurotoxins and dermal fillers).
- Excellent communication, consultation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for aesthetics, patient care, and continual professional development.
Preferred:
- Experience performing Sculptra®, Radiesse®, microneedling, RF microneedling, HydraFacial®, chemical peels, IV therapy, vitamin injections, and ozone therapy.
- Experience with wellness medicine, hormone optimization, medical weight loss, GLP-1 therapy, or peptide therapy.
- Previous experience building and maintaining a patient following in an aesthetic practice.
- Sales, consultation, and patient conversion experience.
- Laser Certified.
Schedule & Availability
We are seeking an injector who is excited to grow with our practice.
As the provider's schedule and patient volume grow, the anticipated schedule will include:
Five days per week:
- Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri: 9 AM - 5 PM
- *Tuesday Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays (every other week), 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with a weekday off during weeks a Saturday is worked is again highly preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Because patient schedules naturally fluctuate, providers should be comfortable with flexibility in their daily schedule. Start and end times may occasionally be adjusted based on patient demand, allowing providers to flex on or off schedule while ensuring excellent patient access and efficient clinic operations.
