Full Job Description

Now hiring a machinist to work on D2 and D5 Swiss Screw Machines. Looking for an applicant with at least three years experience as a CNC Machinist - Pay will be based on relevant experience/types of machine knowledge/set-up skills. Applicant must be dependable and have reliable transportation. First shift - start time is flexible.

Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during process. Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work. Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs. Operate equipment to verify operational efficiency. Install repaired parts into equipment, or install new equipment. Basic knowledge of tool room equipment. Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter. Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel in order to exchange technical information. Read and interpret specifications on part prints. Replace and re-grind cutting tools as necessary. Measure, examine and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

- Experience working on Escomatic D5 machines (P)

Minimum of three years experience as a CNC Machinist. Employee owned – 25% of annual salary is invested for employees into a retirement account – no employee contribution required. Bonuses paid typically twice yearly at an average of 12% of earnings. Medical coverage paid by the company with deductible reimbursement.
