Job Overview

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN MONMOUTH JUNCTION, NJ. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU LIVE WITHIN 10-15 MILES.

Are you passionate about inspiring others and leading energetic fitness classes? Do you thrive in motivating groups to achieve their health and wellness goals? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor & Expert Motivator to join our team. In this role, you will deliver engaging fitness sessions, foster a positive environment, and help members unlock their full potential through innovative program design. Your expertise in various fitness disciplines combined with your vibrant personality will energize our community and make every workout experience memorable. This is a paid position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives while advancing your career in the fitness industry.

Duties

Lead 45-minute group fitness classes that incorporate diverse modalities such as cardio/HIIT, strength training and Kickboxing to keep sessions exciting and effective. *We can teach kickboxing if that is not a modality you are trained in*
Motivate participants through energetic coaching, positive reinforcement, and expert guidance to maximize engagement and achievement.
Educate members on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and the benefits of physical activity to promote long-term health habits.
Provide modifications to meet the age, fitness levels, and prior injury or health concerns of all members
Assist with gym operations by maintaining equipment, setting up class spaces, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.
Maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance.
Engage with members utilizing their name and making personal contact throughout every class regardless of in person or at home attendance on zoom.
Coach members toward the attainment of their individual goals.
Celebrate member’s achievement of goals.
Execute proper cleaning procedures before and after class time.
Facilitate both in person and virtual instruction simultaneously.

STANDARDS:

Promote all Max Challenge products and services, promoting products/ services that compete with the Max Challenge will not be tolerated.
Exhibit preparedness and dependability (review class plans prior to class time knowing all formats and exercises used).
Arrive to the center 15 minutes prior to class time and stay until all cleaning and member questions are answered.
Start and end all classes at the designated times.
Engage with all members· “Leave it at the door” always be upbeat, energetic, and positive.
Instructors always present themselves in Max branded attire.
Prioritize the safety of all members above all else, if you see something potentially hazardous or unsafe fix it in the moment, do not wait.
AED / CPR certified·
Music will be free from profanity and obscenities

Key Performance Indicators:

70% of members are attending on a regular basis
