Full Job Description

We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our growing organization. The successful candidate must have a prior background in CNC Machining and must have an in-depth knowledge of blueprints, mechanical drawings and the English language. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and enjoy working with other people in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in working in a growth industry and advancing quickly within our company.

Responsibilities:

Shift hours are : 7:00am-3:00pm & 3:00pm- Midnight.

Interpreting blueprints, sketches and engineering drawings.
Servicing and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, including lathes and milling machines.
Inspecting machined parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
Repairing, aligning, and maintaining machine tools.
Making precision measurements using measuring instruments.
Troubleshooting machine failures. Located in South Houston, Temp to Perm full benefits after completed hours. Great company to work for with National Presence.

Requirements:

Needs to have experience with rotating machinery and split parts/ bearings and in programming from a print or model using GibbsCam preferably.
Needs to have experience in complete set-up and operating CNC Mills or Lathes.
CNC Mill Machinist with strong manufacturing skills and experience
CNC Lathe Machinist we are looking for someone with VTL CNC lathe experience, specifically with experience running a VTL lathe with Siemens controls.
Experience running: VT-60 VTL
Experience running: Siemens 840D control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Machining: 3 years (Required)
bearing: 3 years (Required)

Shift availability:

Day Shift (Preferred)
Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
