Full Job Description

We need a TIG welder/fabricator. Experience is required. Pay will be based on experience. In shop interview testing of skills will be conducted. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Some overtime may be required but not guaranteed). Communication will be imperative as you will work with others within the company.

Shift / Hours:

7:30 AM – 4 PM half hour lunch
5, 8 hour shifts per week

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Must know to effectively and efficiently use iron worker, punch, press, shear, bridgeport, tig, mig, plasma, braze, torch, saws and drills.

Job Requirements:

Exceptional mechanical AND welding skills required
MUST supply own hand tools and tool box
Ability read a tape measure and convert fractions to the decimal equivalents required. And other measuring devices found in a fab shop.
Metal working/fabrication experience
AWS welding certification is considered a plus
ARC/STICK welding skills are not being considered for this position
Ability to build from print or sample

Troubleshooting abilities

Mechanical aptitude and enjoys hands on work
