About White Orthodontics

White Orthodontics is a brand-new orthodontic practice built on clinical excellence, efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience. We’re creating something special from the ground up in Eagle Mountain — and we’re looking for a motivated Clinical Orthodontic Assistant who is excited to grow with us and play a foundational role in shaping our culture and systems.

This is a unique opportunity to join a start-up orthodontic office where your impact will be visible from day one.

About the Role

This position is a Clinical Orthodontic Assistant role with additional administrative and patient coordination responsibilities.

You will work directly with the doctor to deliver excellent clinical care while also supporting front-office systems, patient communication, and treatment coordination as needed.

As the practice grows, this role is designed to expand — with clear opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership.

This is ideal for someone who:

Loves working hands-on with patients
Is organized and proactive
Enjoys learning multiple aspects of practice operations
Wants to grow long-term in a thriving orthodontic practice

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures
Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
Take digital scans, photos, and radiographs (as permitted by certification)
Change archwires, ligatures, and assist with bracket placement
Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
Monitor inventory and clinical supplies

Administrative & Patient Coordination Support

Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
Assist with scheduling and appointment flow
Answer new patient phone calls
Support new patient consultations and assist with records
Help explain treatment steps and next appointments
Verify insurance benefits (training provided)
Collect payments and support financial arrangements
Maintain accurate chart documentation
Assist with follow-up communication and patient retention
Support occasional marketing or community events

Qualifications

Orthodontic assisting experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and patient education skills
Detail-oriented and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting
Comfortable learning administrative systems and software
Positive, team-oriented mindset
Excited to grow in a start-up environment
