Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be skilled in various nursing practices. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients across different settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and teaching hospitals. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to guide patient care decisions.
Provide case management services, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
Support surgical teams in the operating room (OR) by preparing patients and equipment.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in Pediatrics
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to perform basic lab tests.
Knowledge of case management principles and practices.
Proficiency in performing gastric lavage when indicated.
Experience working in emergency rooms (ER) or operating rooms (OR) is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to nursing practice.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
