Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our team. This position is responsible for processing and machining parts according to product drawings and applicable standards or specifications. Preference for experience with CNC Milling and post-weld machining.
The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, maintaining a safe workspace, and supporting production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine and process parts in accordance with product drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Follow all company safety, HR, and Quality Management System policies, reporting any concerns to a supervisor.
- Verify that equipment and materials are appropriate for the work being performed.
- Perform in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with required specifications.
- Ensure all measuring and test equipment (M&TE) is properly calibrated before use.
- Maintain an adequate supply of tools and equipment needed for assigned work.
- Monitor job progress and communicate any issues that could affect production schedules or customer commitments to the Machine Shop Manager.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CNC machining.
- Ability to program CNC equipment (Mastercam experience is preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings.

Additional Information
- Selected candidates will be required to complete a weld sample test during the interview process.
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, or otherwise authorized to access USML technical data.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, handling tools, reaching, and lifting. Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional fumes or airborne particles, and loud noise levels. Safety equipment is provided.

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour
