Ready to take your IT career to the next level? SNAP is looking for an experienced, solutions-driven IT Consultant II to join our Mission Support Core team!

What You’ll Do:

Lead advanced technical support across SNAP office locations
Tackle complex IT issues and implement smart solutions
Support infrastructure upgrades, systems integration, and end-user training

Starting salary for this position is $23.26-$26.01 per hour DOE

Full range is $23.26-$36.53 per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior IT Consultant to provide advanced technical support, lead medium-sized IT projects, and serve as a reliable resource for junior team members and customers. This hands-on, customer-focused role involves working across multiple office locations in Spokane, ensuring that IT systems run efficiently and users receive timely, effective support.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide advanced support for Windows systems, Microsoft 365 applications, printers, and basic networking.
Lead and coordinate small IT projects such as device rollouts, software upgrades, or office technology setups.
Assist with system administration tasks, including user account management in Active Directory.
Support and mentor junior IT team members, sharing best practices and assisting with escalated issues.
Assist with the configuration and support of camera and access control systems.
Document technical procedures, system configurations, and asset inventory.
Respond to and resolve service tickets professionally and promptly.
Travel between local office locations within Spokane as needed.
Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours and on weekends.
Within the context of the stated principles job duties, serve as an ambassador of SNAP’s mission and values
Provide excellent customer service at all times as well as help to grow the customer service culture within the agency
Completes assigned projects and performs related duties as needed or situation dictates.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

Required: Associate’s degree in information technology or similar fields required. 3–5 years of IT support experience, ideally with exposure to project coordination.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory environments.
Solid understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience supporting end users in a multi-location organization.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with camera systems and access control technologies.
Self-motivated, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through.
Relevant certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Microsoft) are a plus.
Must be able to travel to other Spokane offices and lift equipment up to 40 lbs.

Additional Information

100% onsite position.
Hourly position with a schedule primarily during business hours; occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
Mileage reimbursement available for inter-office travel.
Support Salesforce user management and perform basic troubleshooting for end users.

Work is conducted in an office environment, which can be highly stressful at times. Nature of this position involves working with a variety of staff to provide mission support
