Full Job Description

Anastasi, Moore & Martin, PLLC, an established CPA and consulting firm, is seeking a part-time (10-20 hours per week) or full-time ACCOUNTING SENIOR to join our team. We offer a supportive, flexible, and engaging work environment where integrity, accountability, and building meaningful relationships are at the heart of what we do. Our practice provides a broad range of audit, tax, client service accounting and consulting services. We are looking for an individual who values integrity, accountability and building relationships, who strives for excellence in all they do and can lead and be led with humility. We offer competitive wages ranging from $26-$30 depending on experience/qualifications, benefits package and a relaxed yet professional work environment. We are passionate about the clients we serve – our motivation to be different is demonstrated in how well we serve our clients, our employees and our community.

Responsibilities will vary but may include:

Daily sales entry

AP/AR

Prepare Washington State excise returns

Bank Reconciliations

Payroll (multi state experience preferred)

Prepare quarterly taxes

1099’s & W2 preparation

G/L reconciliation

Balance Sheet reconciliation

Qualifications:

Higher degree in accounting or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting, but we value diverse backgrounds and skillsets."

Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online

Previous experience in public accounting preferred but not required

Effective problem solving, critical thinking, research, written and verbal communication skills.

Able to multitask and cope with changing work pressure and meet deadlines that will require overtime

Exemplary customer service skills

Must be able to work in both a team environment as well as self-manage

Able to take direction, use good judgement and tact

Able to prioritize while working on multiple projects simultaneously

Able to work overtime as needed

Flexible schedule – some longer days and weekend work required during peak deadlines

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development

Experience with multi-state payroll processing, including compliance with state and federal regulations, is preferred
