Full Job Description

Job Summary

General maintenance duties.
General handyman tasks (putting furniture together, housing repairs, etc)
Oversee the maintenance of Rockland Treatment facilities and equipment according to daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules
Fulfill all assigned requests in a timely manner.
Work with and establish relationships with vendors to maintain the functioning of all Rockland properties and equipment
Inspect and maintain Properties for maintenance of proper standards.
Performs daily Quality Assurance reviews of standards that BHT’s are required to maintain and provides reporting to BHT Director/Supervisor
Makes decisions and recommendations during emergency situations to ensure the safety of clients and staff.
Manage processes during emergencies
Works as project Manager and oversees construction or renovation projects for facilities
Work with compliance in establishing safety protocols for facility
Utilize independent judgment, strong initiative and decision - making skill.
Supervise completion of routine maintenance in a timely, efficient manner.
Supervise completion of all inspections and safety reports and turn in on schedule.
Adhere to work schedule best suited for shift.
Ensures transportation safety by overseeing van inspections and following safety rules
Disperse and supervise Transportation Supervisor for errands, appointments, transportation needs of clients including client activities, medical visits, shopping, to and from meetings, assisting in transferring clients between levels of care in a timely and efficient manner
Report problems, progress, or concerns to supervisor and manager.
Purchase any supplies, appliances, or other items for facilities that are needed
Reports to work as scheduled.
Independently solve problems and follow through.
Organize and function independently in an office environment.
Maintains acceptable overall attendance.
Promotes a favorable/positive work environment.
Attends in educational training as necessary and as required.
Reports symptoms of suspected illness of contagious diseases.
Reports incidents, accidents, and occurrences in accordance with policies and procedures.
Maintains safety of the physical environment.
Completes inspections and safety reports on schedule as required by supervisor.
Communicate (in person, in writing, including correspondence and e-mail, and by telephone) in a courteous manner always.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Have all phone numbers for maintenance, janitorial, leadership team, and all supervisors.
Purchase and maintain inventories necessary to maintain properties and equipment
Maintain regular communication with CEO, COO, BHT director.
Ensure all client areas, client rooms, and offices are secure and safe that meet Rockland standards
Creates and maintains records of all equipment inventory, and reports needs or trends to supervisor.
Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
Maintain valid insurance on any personal vehicle.
Liaison with DCF, AHCA, TJC, relating to all licensure and audits and ensure company adherence and review and maintain and monitor expiration dates of licensing, and safety equipment.
Work in conjunction with CEO and COO and other staff to manage and maintain annual disaster plan and conduct disaster drills and meetings per regulation.
Creation and annual maintenance of Rockland Treatment Center Disaster Plan and Drill assisted by CEO and COO
Provide Transportation fs needed for pick-ups and transportation of clients or staff.
Maintain logs pertaining to safety and security and environment of care and providing reporting monthly to QAPI.
Mange security and safety of center and facilities.

Pay: $24.52 - $27.00 per hour
