Full-Time | Monday–Friday Schedule | Rotational On-Call

Bear Creek Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Wound Care RN to join our clinical team. This is a high-impact, specialized role focused on improving resident outcomes through expert wound assessment, treatment, and prevention.

What You’ll Do

Perform comprehensive wound assessments, staging, and treatment planning
Develop and implement individualized wound care plans
Monitor healing progress and adjust interventions as needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation and compliance
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate staff on wound care protocols, prevention, and best practices
Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in rotational on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications (Required for Consideration)

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (required)
Wound Care Certification (WCC, WOCN, or equivalent) required
Experience in wound care within a skilled nursing or healthcare setting (required)

Strong knowledge of:

Wound staging and treatment protocols
Infection control practices
Documentation and regulatory compliance

Preferred Experience

Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF/LTC)
Familiarity with electronic health records (PCC preferred)
Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
