We are a fast-paced, fee-for-service dental organization who focuses on providing high quality comprehensive dental care to every patient.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Removable Dental Lab Technician to join our dental lab team in the Jacksonville, FL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating removable dental prosthetics, such as dentures, partial dentures, and other removable devices, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are of the highest quality. Travel to different lab locations may be required. Weekend hours may be required.
Job Description:
Fabricate (from start to finish) and repair removable dental prosthetics, including full dentures, partial dentures, implant supported dentures, relines, and repairs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be willing to work some weekends.
- Must be willing to travel to other company offices in North Florida from on the as needed basis.
- Knowledge of Ivoclar IVOBASE (required).
- Knowledge of Digital Denture design (preferred).
- CDT Certification (preferred).
- 3D Printing and or Milling experience is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a dental lab, especially in fabricating removable prosthetics.
- Experience making and fabricating implant supported dentures (highly desired).
- Proficient in the use of dental lab equipment such as lathes, grinders, and other specialized tools.
- Strong understanding of dental materials and techniques used in the fabrication of removable devices.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work without supervision
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage work schedule
