About You

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced construction and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and takes ownership of their responsibilities, ensuring installations are completed at the highest standards and on-time.

Experience installing shower door enclosures and Division 8 & 10 specialty products, or experience in a related field, combined with strong organizational skills, will allow this individual to excel in this role.

Position Summary

The production technician is responsible for preparing and professionally installing shower enclosures, mirrors, shelving, bath hardware, door hardware, or any other product sold by National Home Products. All work must be completed within established timeframes following company quality, customer service & safety standards. This position requires a positive attitude, work well in a team environment as well as have the ability to work well independently.

Essential Position Functions

· Reads, understands and efficiently implements work orders, instructions and drawings for the preparation and installation of shower enclosures, mirrors, shelving, bath & door hardware.

· Safely travels to worksites by following Google Maps and written directional information.

· Provides excellent customer service in the delivery and installation of products.

· Actively works to solve preparation and installation problems.

· Completes all assignments correctly, within allotted timeframes, minimizes waste and accurately documents work on associated paperwork.

· Prepares products, tools/supplies for installation and loads into van.

· Maintains working knowledge of size, location, finish, service and installation requirements of all products.

· Assembles and installs basic shower enclosure bypass and swing doors, neatly caulks shower enclosures to prevent leaks, ensures proper operation of doors.

· Cuts, assembles and installs custom shower enclosures from diagrams.

· Installs mirrors using mounting and anchoring materials and approved mounting techniques.

· Keys alike or to special directions all entry handle sets, key locks and dead bolts along with cutting keys.

· Reduces product damage by following approved procedures and techniques.

· Unloading inventory from delivery supply trucks using a fork lift or pallet jack, checking in all inventory properly and placing in the correct area.

· Maintains a clean and safe working environment including maintenance of all tools and equipment in the shop area and proper disposal of crates and packaging.

· Conducts a “Final Walk-Through” on all jobs to ensure all work is complete and all company tools/supplies are collected.

Additional Duties

· Reads, understands and implements complex and custom work orders for the installation of shower enclosures, mirrors, and shelving.

· Serves as a resource to resolve technical problems during bidding and cost estimation process. Assists in troubleshooting difficult installation situations.

· Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor or owners.

Education and Experience

Required:

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

· Valid driver's license.

· 3 years prior construction experience.

· Proficiency reading a tape measure, using a drill, screw gun, basic construction tools (screw driver, hammer, square, level, pliers), chop saw, radial arm saw, band saw, hack saw and chain saw.

· Reliable transportation to and from Ozark, MO.

· Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred:

· 5 years prior construction experience.

· Previous experience installing shower enclosures, mirrors, shelving & hardware.

· Vocational training in construction.

· OSHA 10 Certified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
