PeaceHealth is seeking passionate and skilled Medical Assistants to join our growing teams across Oregon. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive pay ranging from $26.62 to $34.58 per hour. Positions are available in our Springfield/Eugene and Creswell/Cottage Grove communities, with openings in both Family Practice and Specialty Care clinics.

Our Specialty Care clinics include cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, pediatrics, behavioral health, and audiology/otolaryngology, providing a variety of opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career.

As a Medical Assistant at PeaceHealth, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams, and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Duties

Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Prepare examination rooms, ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available, and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations.
Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, medication administration, X-ray procedures, and basic life support to support patient diagnostics and treatment.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters, ICD coding, and medication records.
Support patient service activities by scheduling appointments, answering questions about treatments or procedures, and providing compassionate care throughout the patient visit.
Maintain inventory control of medical supplies and ensure compliance with safety protocols for all clinical operations.
