We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions related to outgoing payments and incoming receivables. Your expertise will ensure accurate processing, reconciliation, and compliance with financial standards, supporting our commitment to integrity and continuous growth. Responsibilities

Code invoices, process and verify all accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers
Maintain W-9 records
Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and customer account maintenance
Perform balance sheet reconciliations for accounts related to payables and receivables
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software Yooz and CDK
Process daily deposits
Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for month-end closing
Assist with audit preparations by providing supporting documentation for financial transactions

Qualifications

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within a corporate accounting environment
Strong communication skills
Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10 key typing and double entry bookkeeping
Ability to analyze account discrepancies through account analysis and reconciliation techniques
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic math skills essential for balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and account analysis
