Architectural Draftsman / Shop Drawing Specialist
New Cast Stone | Full-Time | Lindon, UT

About Us
New Cast Stone is Utah’s premier manufacturer of lightweight architectural cast stone. For over two decades, we’ve pioneered advanced precast systems that deliver the timeless beauty of limestone with up to 80% less weight. Our products feature prominently in high-profile projects including custom homes, Rio Tinto Stadium, the Venetian Casino, and the Ritz-Carlton. We’re growing and seeking an experienced drafter to help bring more landmark designs to life.

The Role
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman / Shop Drawing Specialist with solid professional experience to join our design and production team. You’ll translate architect and client concepts into precise shop drawings for custom cast stone elements — columns, cornices, balustrades, panels, facades, pier caps, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed shop drawings and technical plans from architectural specifications.
Coordinate with manufacturing on production-ready drawings (including EPS foam mold processes).
Collaborate with architects, engineers, GCs, sales, and clients on custom designs and revisions.
Manage project documentation and drawing revisions based on feedback or field conditions.
Support sales with customization of shapes, sizes, and details.

What You Bring

2+ years of drafting experience in architecture, manufacturing, or construction (we are not seeking entry-level candidates).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit or 3D modeling (SketchUp, SolidWorks) a plus.
Ability to read/interpret architectural plans, specs, and construction documents.
Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
