Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Team Lead for our Food Production Facility to drive excellence in food manufacturing operations.

Shifts: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation procedures.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is operating efficiently; utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues when necessary.
Manage packaging operations, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and handling of finished products.
Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce sanitation practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement among team members.
Maintain accurate records related to production metrics, safety incidents, sanitation logs, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

Proven experience in food production or manufacturing environments within the food industry or food processing plants.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards.
Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills for manufacturing equipment.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; forklift certification is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in basic math for measurements and data recording.
Effective leadership abilities with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledge of packaging processes and sanitation protocols specific to the food processing industry.
