Director, Technology Delivery Center of Excellence/PMO
Leads the Technology Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) and PMO by defining and
communicating the COE vision, strategy, operating model, governance, and KPIs to standardize
delivery across the enterprise. Oversees enterprise program and portfolio management —
including intake, prioritization, stage-gates, tooling, reporting/dashboards, and
post‑implementation reviews — to ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and value
targets. Partners with business, technical, and executive stakeholders to align investments, shape
resource and budget plans, manage cross-functional dependencies, and drive adoption and
change management. Provides leadership, coaching, and capability-building for PMO and delivery
teams to sustain consistent delivery practices and continuous improvement

Role Purpose
Reports to the VP Tech Strategy & Planning and responsible for the Technology Project Management Office. development, implementation, and management of the Technology Delivery Centers of Excellence including User Research & Design, Project, Agile Process Improvement, Capacity Management and Testing. Responsible for establishing the standards and processes; training, coaching and mentoring targeted stakeholders (i.e. user researchers, designers, project managers, scrum masters, and testers)
the establishment of and adherence to project management methodologies and toolsets that support enterprise analysis of demand and initiation of projects and programs to respond to that demand, and delivery of programs and projects.
This role will provide quality leadership and continuous improvement guidance to the IT organization through strong collaboration and partnership, ensuring compliant, efficient, and scalable IT systems and processes enable the execution of organizational initiatives and promote inspection readiness.
Responsibilities:
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Initiate and govern the delivery of IT related initiatives through optimizing the management of resources, work plans, milestones, risk, expectations, budgets and quality to meet the objectives of the business; understand, prioritize and manage the supply and demand for IT products and services. Establish and drive accountability to project management principles, methods and techniques (e.g.: agile methodologies). Leverage technologies, such as ServiceNow, Jira, to provide a standardized, consistent and organized platform to aid in effective planning, managing and forecasting of projects. Drive accountability for a minimum set of deliverables/ standards.
Ensures compliance with the Business Solution Fulfillment process. Participates in and/or supports inspections and internal inspections, as required.
Evaluate and improve the Business Solution Fulfillment process. Continuously monitor changing regulations, standards, best practices, and the results from inspections and internal audits and evaluate changes required. Apply robust process improvement to support process evaluation and change adoption; example toolsets include lean, six sigma, design thinking, change acceleration process (CAP), and situational leadership.
Stakeholder Partnership – Views all stakeholders as IS customers and designs supporting processes with a focus on serving the needs of stakeholders in a frictionless manner while also managing risks to the organization.

The work that I do as an ER, nurse contributes to the overall mission statement for BJC by providing patient advocacy, every patient that walks into BJC facility, we are there to advocate for the patient from the time they enter to the time that they are discharged. Second clinical excellence. Our goal is to provide excellent care for every patient that walks into a BJC facility. Third employee satisfaction. We, that is our goal to make sure that our employees are satisfied as well as our patients. So those three elements, clinical excellence, patient advocacy and employee satisfaction helps to contribute to the overall mission of BJC.
