Overview
We are looking for a highly capable Full-Stack Engineer who actively leverages AI development tools (Replit, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, builder.io, Rork, etc.) to accelerate development while maintaining exceptional code quality and system reliability.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can bridge the gap between product strategy, engineering, and user experience.
You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, supporting and maintaining modern web applications, internal business systems, Shopify experiences, SaaS products, and customer-facing tools. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, product thinking, and the ability to independently own projects from concept to deployment.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t simply execute tickets, but actively identifies opportunities, inefficiencies, technical debt, user experience issues, and business challenges, then works autonomously to propose and implement solutions. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly resourceful, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
ResponsibilitiesAI-Accelerated Development
- Utilize AI coding assistants to rapidly prototype, debug, refactor, document, and ship production-ready software
- Evaluate AI-generated code for scalability, maintainability, security, and performance
- Continuously improve development workflows through automation and AI-assisted tooling
- Stay current with emerging AI tools and technologies
Full-Stack Application Development
- Design, build, and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS
- Build scalable front-end and back-end systems
- Develop responsive, accessible, and polished user experiences
- Participate in architectural decisions and long-term planning
- Optimize performance, rendering, SEO, and user experience
Backend Systems & Integrations
- Build and maintain APIs, webhooks, background jobs, and third-party integrations
- Integrate applications with Shopify, CRM systems, marketing platforms, analytics tools, databases, and internal systems
- Design and maintain data models, workflows, and business processes
- Troubleshoot production issues across the stack
Product & Technical Ownership
- Identify technical, operational, and user experience issues before they become larger problems
- Recommend and implement improvements to systems and processes
- Investigate problems and drive solutions from concept through deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions
- Take ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks
Required QualificationsTechnical Skills
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS
- Experience designing and maintaining production applications
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows

- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
AI Fluency

- Understanding of when to trust, validate, and challenge AI outputs

- Shopify stores, custom apps, and integrations
- Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, Functions, webhooks, B2B, and Markets
- Recharge and subscription commerce
- E-commerce workflows including checkout, inventory, promotions, and order management
- PostHog, GA4, Shopify Analytics, attribution, conversion tracking, and data warehousing
- Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or SQL Server

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $105,500 – $126,639 annually
