Aesthetic Nurse (RN) — Microneedling

Location: Downtown San Mateo, CA (on-site)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Starting at $65/hour
Start Date: Within 3 weeks

About The Dot Theory

The Dot Theory is a microneedling-focused practice in the heart of Downtown San Mateo. Our mission is simple: make medical skin procedures more accessible. We specialize in microneedling and bio-fillers — and we do that exceptionally well. We don't do Botox or traditional fillers, because focus is how we deliver results our patients trust.

We're building a team that treats skin health like the medical service it is: precise, personal, and pressure-free.

The Role

We're hiring part-time nurses to check in patients, deliver treatments under our protocols, and be the calm, confident face our patients remember. You'll be trained directly by our medical directors — so you don't need prior aesthetics experience.

What You'll Do

Check in patients and prepare them for their visit
Deliver treatments following Dot Theory protocols
Guide patients toward the right treatment plan for their goals.
Keep accurate, up-to-date patient records
Maintain equipment and manage inventory
Own patient management as a treatment provider, from consultation to follow-up
Conduct patient follow-ups and consultations
Complete continued education and ongoing training

What We're Looking For

No aesthetics experience required — our medical directors will train you
Active nursing registration in the State of California (required)
Blood draw / phlebotomy experience (required)
The ability to set clear expectations
Organized, with the ability to juggle tight schedules

Schedule

Part-time with a flexible schedule
Shifts are booked in 4-hour blocks
All nurses commit to at least one weekend shift

Compensation

Starting at $65/hour

Interview Process

Our interview is a two-part process:

Part 1: A 15-minute Q&A with our CMO, Zoom or in person at The Dot Theory Studios.
Part 2: Interview with our Medical Director, Zoom

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
