Clubhouse Assistant- 30 hours per week
Montcalm Care Network is seeking a Clubhouse Assistant. Join an innovative workforce dedicated to the provision of evidence based, integrated mental health care. MCN serves persons with mental illness and developmental disabilities with an emphasis on trauma informed care and co-occurring substance use treatment.
The Clubhouse provides a structured, daily program to assist persons with severe mental illness to develop job skills, gain education, and improve the social skills necessary to fully participate as part of their community.
We are seeking an upbeat, self-motivated individual who will be responsible for working side by side with consumers in a work order day, promoting health and wellness, as well as encouraging social interaction and community integration. Assistants provide job coaching at transitional job sites and transportation to Clubhouse. Promotes mental health recovery, wellness, and full participation within the community for consumers in a manner where practice is trauma informed, co-occurring capable, person/family centered and integrated with other health care providers.

Student Loan Repayment: MCN is an approved National Health Service site (NHSC, a loan repayment program); in addition to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and MDHHS Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (BHLRP). MCN offers additional tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year.
Employment Qualifications
Education: Possession of a high school diploma
Experience: At least one year experience working with adults with a mental illness or developmental disability preferred.
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license is required. Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a State of Michigan chauffeur’s license within 30 days of hire.
Job Type: Part-time 30 hours/week, hourly, non-exempt
Salary: $17.96 to $25.18 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: Monday to Friday variable schedule with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
