Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our clinic. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience during their visits.

Duties

Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
Perform basic life support as necessary and maintain current certifications.
Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions.
Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR)..
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
Support emergency medicine protocols when required.
Assist with outpatient care, ensuring that patients receive follow-up instructions.

Requirements

Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or related field is preferred.
Experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
Proficient in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is beneficial.
A commitment to providing compassionate patient care in an outpatient setting.
