Live-In Family Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, warm, and organized Live-In Family Assistant for basic tasks.
We live in a beautiful home on 6 acres with our two older very well-behaved children. Both children are respectful and independent and will not need much interaction from you other than driving them to activities.
We also have two lovable, friendly, healthy, mid-sized, hypoallergenic dogs who are an important part of our family. They require minimal care like opening the door to let them out, feeding, and watering them.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to live while earning a steady partime paycheck in a friendly family environment. Perfect for a student or someone looking for extra hours to subsidize a job that they already have. There are many quiet places in our home if you work remotely for your full time or other part time job.
Position & Compensation
Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:30 PM
Approximately 5-10 additional hours per week of household/organizational duties scheduled flexibly
Not to exceed 30 hours per week total
$20 per hour (negotiable depending on qualifications). If you are interested in a live out position, the pay is $25 per hour.
Live In Position includes:
Free room and board
Free family meals and communal snacks/drinks
Free utilities
Use of a family vehicle for commuting to school and work while working for us
*Additional personal use of the vehicle may be permitted on a case-by-case basis
Payroll employee — not an independent contractor
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Picking up and dropping off the children
Dishes
Laundry
General tidying and straightening
Organizing closets, storage areas, and household items
Meal preparation and assisting with family meals
Watering plants
Other reasonable light household projects and errands as needed not to exceed 30 hours per week unless you would like additional hours.
YOU WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING BATHROOMS BUT YOUR OWN AND
NO STRENUOUS YARD WORK LIKE MOWING WILL BE ASKED OF YOU.
Your Living Arrangement:
You will have your own private bedroom and private bathroom within our beautiful home.
Room and board includes:
Private bedroom with TV and every streaming app
Private bathroom
Family meals
Internet/Wi-Fi
Paid utilities
Bedding and towels
Toilet paper and basic household supplies
Cleaning supplies
Full access to the kitchen
Access to household amenities
Access to in home gym

Prior childcare, nanny, household assistant, hospitality, or organizational experience is a plus, but the right attitude and dependability are most important.
About Our Home
We have a beautiful home situated on 6 acres, offering a safe, peaceful and comfortable living environment steps away from the heart of Leesburg and the toll road. We do some organic farming so there’s always lots of fresh produce to snack on as well. We are a very healthy, active, fun and loving family with great communication and ability to set and respect boundaries. You will have your own space and clearly defined tasks and hours.
