Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids is a CMS 5-star skilled nursing facility known for its warm, family-oriented culture and commitment to high-quality resident care. We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to support our growing team in a fast-paced, supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in managing day-to-day HR operations within the facility. This is a stand-alone HR position working closely with leadership and department heads to support employees and ensure smooth HR processes.

Compensation Schedule

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who brings a balance of professionalism and personality-someone who can be both dependable and approachable, and who thrives in a close-knit, slightly "goofy but hardworking" team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Process and oversee bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain and update employee personnel files in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Conduct interviews and assist in the recruitment process for CNAs, Nurses, and other facility staff
Support onboarding activities and ensure all required new hire documentation is completed and properly filed
Assist with accounts payable functions, including processing and tracking invoices
Serve as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR matters, employee questions, and workplace concerns
Support employee relations efforts, including initial handling of concerns and assisting with internal investigations when needed
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and healthcare employment regulations
Collaborate with leadership and department heads to support staffing and operational needs

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 1 year of HR experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
