Full Job Description

Patient Service Representative/Insurance Coordinator

We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our team in our Stevens Point, WI location.

Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients in a medical office setting. Has the responsibility of being the lead financial coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing account receivables, financial coordination of patient treatment plans and insurance claims, assisting the office manager in business operations for the practice, sharing in administrative responsibilities with our other patient care representatives.

Responsibilities:

Manages Accounts Receivables in all aspects including but not limited to:

-Financial coordination

-Coordination of insurance benefits

-Patient and Insurance payments

-Responds promptly and professionally to inquiries relating to insurance and billing issues

-Manages and tracks patient recare processes, treatment planning opportunities, etc.

-All responsibilities included in the Patient Service Representative’s job description

-Manages the practice schedule including:

-Team member work hours

-Doctor availability

-Coordinating scheduling amongst Plainfield and Auburndale practices

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Represent Hom Family Dentistry, S.C. with professionalism, energy, ethics and superior patient service

-Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

-Ability to learn quickly and accept training/coaching

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills

-Ability to work with peers in a managerial role

-Strong knowledge base with dental and medical insurance companies as it relates to coordination of dental care

-Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
