Join our team at Home Instead, a premier provider of in-home care services dedicated to enriching the lives of aging adults and their families. As a Caregiver with us, you will have a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes for as long as possible. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of older adults, we welcome your application!

Are you at least 18 years old?
Do you have a valid driver's license, car insurance, reliable car and comfortable driving a client around?
Are you willing to drive up to 25 miles from your home to care for your client?
Are you able to lift or push/pull 25 pounds?

Schedule

Weekdays and every other weekend with flexible times

Wages & Benefits:

Rate of Pay: $17-$19 DOE

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for....

Companionship
Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
Preparing meals and snacks
Medication reminders
Personal cares (ADL's)
Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
Transportation
Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Pass a background check
18+ years of age
Pass Drug Test
