Full Job Description

Position Summary:

Meat Team Members are an essential part of Brine’s Market and Deli. First and foremost they deal directly with our customers by assisting them with purchases and suggesting the proper cuts of meats for any occasion. Meat Team Members help to ensure that the meat department is clean, stocked, visually appealing, and that our customers receive the best service in the St. Croix valley. Team members will be trained to prepare many different cuts of meat as well as make ground products and all of Brine's famous brats and sausages. Meat Team Members also work in Brine’s smokehouse and have a hand in preparing age old signature items. Meat Team Members may also be asked to provide general support to other areas of the store when needed.

A reliable, positive person who shows up each day ready to help the team create an excellent guest experience. If you have meat cutting or smokehouse experience, great - if not, we are willing to train!

Schedule: 3 - 5 shifts per week including some weekends. Current shifts available may vary and can include mainly daytime hours. Family friendly stores hours! No late nights! Closed on all major holidays!

Essential Job Functions:

This position requires frequent standing as well as walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling, fine motor manipulation, climbing (ladders), lifting of up to 70lbs, the ability to work on a point-of-sale system, electrical equipment including saws and slicers, and move around our store and storage rooms with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
