Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team (Personal Injury Firm). This role involves supporting attorneys across a broad spectrum of personal injury litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess extensive paralegal experience, demonstrate exceptional research and document management skills, and be capable of managing complex case files efficiently. Candidate must be proficient in federal and state filing and service procedures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our legal processes while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist attorneys in preparing for trial, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files, exhibits, and evidence materials. Conduct comprehensive legal research using legal research tools to support case strategies. Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Manage electronic case files utilizing document management systems. Perform document review and data entry tasks to facilitate efficient case progression while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Coordinate client interviews and witness statements with professionalism and confidentiality. Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements across multiple cases. Assist with administrative functions including filing, transcription, proofreading, and maintaining organized physical and digital files. Provide executive administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations within the law office environment.

Skills

Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in litigation support across diverse practice areas. Strong legal drafting abilities with attention to detail in preparing pleadings, contracts, discovery documents, and correspondence. Proficiency with document management systems including; familiarity with legal case management software is highly desirable. Experience with Smart Advocate is preferred. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Effective communication skills for interviewing clients and witnesses; professional phone etiquette for client interactions. Experience with clerical tasks such as filing—both electronic and physical—data entry, proofreading, transcription, and general administrative support within a law office setting. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Strong organizational skills combined with project management capabilities to coordinate complex litigation activities efficiently.
