Job Overview Job Summary:

Shift Leads need to be able to support operations with passion, integrity, and knowledge, all while embodying and promoting Love, Energy, and Food. Must be able to work alongside a diverse team and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The expectation of the Shift Lead is to work alongside all Team Members during peak hours while providing direction, support, and reinforcement of best practices during their shift. This role is responsible for assisting in the execution of daily operations and ensuring standards are upheld in real time.

Bar Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality beverage preparation
Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards
Oversee food preparation and bar menu presentation, including cocktail crafting, wine service, and light food offerings
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal supplies
Enforce food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health standards
Assist in shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing opening and closing procedures, and ensuring smooth operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited too):

● Verify, and correct where necessary, that all products are stored and prepared based on Craft Food Halls standards.

● Support the supervision of Team Members to ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

● Maintain a positive and productive work environment for team members during shifts.

● Assist in training team members on menu builds and operational standards.

● Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members to maintain consistency and efficiency.

● Escalate performance or operational concerns to Managers when necessary.

● Partner with Managers to maintain clear and open communication.

● Assist in creating an exceptional experience for all guests through active floor presence.

● Support shift execution including opening, peak, and closing responsibilities.

Breakfast Focused Responsibilities:

● Greet all guests who enter the restaurant/bar area.

● Participate in creating breakfast standards.

● Participate in creating breakfast organization and labeling.

● Participate in creating breakfast training, with photographed set up standards.

● Participate in creating floor standard training, for breakfasts service.

● Participate in side work and task accountability for breakfast, shift to shift.

Experience

Demonstrated supervisory or management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales tracking
Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety management practices
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff training & development
Exceptional team management skills with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of culinary techniques related to beverage creation, food handling, and catering services
