Pharmacy Technician Job Advertisement (Jupiter, Florida)
Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Pharmacy at Abacoa, Jupiter, Florida
Service Focus: Supporting rehabilitation centers' pharmaceutical needs across South Florida and serving walk-in patients.

About the Pharmacy

Pharmacy at Abacoa is a community-focused pharmacy in Jupiter, Florida, providing responsive pharmacy services for walk-in patients and coordinated pharmaceutical support for rehabilitation centers throughout South Florida.

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician supports safe, accurate, and timely pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, patient and facility communications, inventory support, and workflow coordination in a fast-paced environment serving both walk-in patients and rehabilitation-center partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive, enter, and process prescription information accurately and efficiently.

2. Assist with prescription workflow support, including preparation steps as assigned and permitted within the pharmacy's procedures.

3. Communicate professionally with walk-in patients and rehabilitation-center staff regarding prescription status, refill coordination, and routine administrative needs.

4. Support inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and tracking supplies and medications consistent with pharmacy procedures.

5. Maintain organized records and assist with routine documentation and administrative tasks.

6. Provide courteous customer service and help maintain a clean, orderly, patient-centered pharmacy environment.

7. Escalate clinical questions and pharmacist-only matters promptly to the pharmacist.

Required Qualifications

1. Prior pharmacy technician experience or demonstrable ability to learn pharmacy workflow quickly.

2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

3. Professional communication skills for patient-facing and facility-facing interactions.

4. Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

5. Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience supporting long-term care, rehabilitation centers, or other facility-based pharmacy services.

2. Experience in a high-volume retail/community pharmacy setting.

3. Bilingual ability (welcome but not required).

Work Schedule and Environment

1. A full-time opportunity is available based on operational needs.

2. Work involves standing, phone communications, and routine pharmacy operational tasks.
