Job description

Jupiter Dermatology and Hair Restoration office seeking an experienced medical receptionist who provides clerical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality efficient concierge level care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition that feels patient care if as meaningful as we do.

You will help manage all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/ check-out, scheduling faxing, scanning, and answering phones patient referrals, retrieving medical records and patient information, and collecting payments.

You will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles.

Job Summary and Qualifications:

One year of medical receptionist experience in a medical office setting required
Experience using an EMR system is highly preferred (ModMed EMA experience a plus)
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care, and concern with each patient or visitor.
Represents the company in a professional manner, following and company policies and procedures
Uses, protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Accurately and professionally manages all front desk operation, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointment, balancing daily collections, addressing routine inquires and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate requests to appropriate personnel
Receives incoming telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
Performed clerical duties as directed
Assists with inventory and maintenance of business office supplies and the completion of business office
Works daily no show. cancelation reports and other designed administrative reports according to office procedures
Performs other duties assigned
Must have consist, punctual, and reliable attendance as well as organizational skills
Social Media posting and video editing a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
