Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Pet Sitter / Dog Walker to join our team.
This role involves providing in-home pet care, including walks, feeding, medication administration, and attentive companionship.
This is not a casual or occasional role—we are looking for someone who can commit to consistent availability and uphold a high standard of care.
Availability Requirements (Important)
- Must be available most weekends
- Must be available for holidays (rotating/seasonal)
- Midday availability (approx. 11 AM – 3 PM) is a strong plus
- Open or flexible availability preferred
This role is best suited for someone with a flexible schedule—not someone trying to fit this around a rigid full-time job outside the area.
Compensation
- Most sitters average $25–$30 per hour, depending on services
- Includes paid Pet Sitter certification
- Starts as part-time, with opportunity to grow into a larger role
Responsibilities
- Visit clients’ homes to care for pets as scheduled
- Provide walks, playtime, and exercise
- Feed pets and ensure fresh water is always available
- Administer medications when required
- Perform thorough home walkthroughs (checking all open rooms for accidents, safety, etc.)
- Send detailed updates and photos to clients after each visit
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and reliability at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Highly reliable and consistent—you show up and follow through
- Detail-oriented—you notice the small things others might miss
- Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
- A strong communicator who responds promptly and clearly
- Calm, responsible, and able to handle unexpected situations
- Genuinely love animals—but also respect structure, systems, and expectations
We are looking for someone we can trust fully in a client’s home—with zero supervision.
Requirements
- 18+ years old (insurance requirement) and live in Jupiter, Tequesta, Juno or PBG, Fl
- Prior hands-on experience with pets (personal or professional)
- Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
- Smartphone for communication and visit updates
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Willing to work weekends and holidays
- Must pass a background check
