Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment focused on excellence in food preparation and service.
Oversee menu planning, ensuring a diverse selection that balances creativity with operational efficiency, including catering and banquet offerings.
Manage inventory control, monitor food costs, and implement effective cost control measures to optimize profitability.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
Coordinate food production activities, including cooking, plating, and serving, maintaining high-quality presentation and consistency.
Oversee shift management, scheduling staff rotations to meet operational demands while promoting a positive work environment.
Maintain compliance with health regulations and industry best practices related to dietary requirements and food allergies.
Implement training programs for staff development in culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met for a safe working environment.
Support hospitality initiatives by enhancing guest experiences through exceptional food service management and catering execution.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally with fine dining background.
Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development.
Demonstrated success in managing kitchen operations including inventory management, cost control, and shift management.
Experience with banquet services, catering events, and large-scale food production is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary accommodations, and restaurant management practices.
Prior experience leading teams as a chef or kitchen manager within the food industry is essential.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and food handling regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
