Job Summary
St. Francis Borgia Grade School is seeking a faith-filled, energetic, and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to join our Christ-centered school community. This position serves students in grades 6–8 and offers the opportunity to inspire young learners during a critical stage of academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
The ideal candidate is passionate about middle school education, enjoys working with adolescents, and is committed to helping students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong foundation for future success in mathematics. We are looking for an educator who can challenge students academically while also supporting their growth in faith, character, responsibility, and respect.
Job Responsibilities
The Middle School Math Teacher will provide engaging, standards-based math instruction that encourages critical thinking, problem solving, perseverance, and mathematical confidence. Through purposeful lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and ongoing assessment, the teacher will meet the needs of diverse learners while maintaining high academic expectations.
The successful candidate will create a positive, structured, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to do their best. This teacher will help students grow in independence, collaboration, organization, and personal responsibility.
As part of the mission of Catholic education, the Middle School Math Teacher will intentionally support the faith life of the school and model Christian values through words, actions, and relationships. The teacher will help students see the importance of integrity, compassion, respect, service, and the use of their God-given gifts. Participation in school liturgies, prayer services, retreats, service opportunities, and other faith-based activities is expected.
The teacher will also work closely with colleagues, communicate effectively with families, participate in the life of the school, and contribute to a strong middle school team. At St. Francis Borgia, teachers are valued partners in forming the whole child—academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject area
- Valid state teaching certification
- Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
- Middle school teaching experience preferred

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
