Full Job Description

URGENT: Experienced Weekend Caregiver Needed – Sumter, SC

Bedbound Client • Split Weekend Shifts • Immediate Hiring

From The Heart Home Care is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on care for a bedbound client in Sumter, SC.

Because of the client's level of care, we are specifically looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional experience caring for bedbound clients who is confident providing consistent, hands-on assistance.

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday – Split Shifts

Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Afternoon: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

10 Hours Per Weekend

Applicants must be able to reliably return for both portions of the split shift each Saturday and Sunday.

Client Needs & Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene as needed
Reposition client appropriately to promote comfort and skin integrity
Assist with safe transfers and mobility when required
Provide meal preparation and hydration assistance
Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care
Provide companionship and supervision
Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly
Maintain the client's safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 3 years of bedbound care experience REQUIRED
Strong hands-on personal care experience
Experience with repositioning and safe transfer techniques preferred
Comfortable providing a higher level of physical assistance
Dependable and able to consistently work both split shifts
Compassionate, patient, and attentive
Strong communication skills
Must have a reliable personal vehicle
Uber, Lyft, taxis, and other ride-share services do not qualify
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance required
Must be a South Carolina resident
Ability to pass a background check
Serious, experienced applicants only
