Licensed Therapist – Hybrid Private Practice / KAP Opportunity
Innerbloom Healing Arts
Charleston, SC | Hybrid In-Person + Telehealth
1099 Independent Contractor
Estimated compensation: $55,000–$75,000+ annually based on caseload
Build Your Practice Without Building All the Infrastructure Yourself
Innerbloom Healing Arts is looking for an independently licensed therapist to join our interdisciplinary mental health practice in Charleston.
This opportunity is designed for a clinician who wants the autonomy and flexibility of private practice while also having the infrastructure, professional community, referrals, and physical space of an established group practice.
You'll receive 60% of collected session revenue, furnished office space at no additional cost, flexible hybrid scheduling, and insurance credentialing, billing, and EHR infrastructure.
- Insurance credentialing and billing initially facilitated through Headway, allowing clinicians to begin building an insurance-based caseload without managing the traditional credentialing and claims process independently
- As Innerbloom continues to expand its insurance relationships, clinicians may also have opportunities to become credentialed directly under Innerbloom's group practice
- Innerbloom manages the applicable billing infrastructure so clinicians can focus primarily on clinical care rather than claims administration
- Clinicians may receive referrals through Innerbloom, Headway, and our professional referral network
For interested clinicians, there is also a pathway to train and potentially become involved in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and other specialty programs at Innerbloom.
What We Offer
- 60% of collected session revenue
- Estimated annual earnings of approximately $55,000–$75,000+, depending on caseload, payer mix, and additional services
- Flexible hybrid schedule with significant clinician autonomy
- Furnished office space at our Charleston practice at no additional cost
- Insurance credentialing, billing, and EHR infrastructure through Headway
- Opportunities for referrals through Innerbloom, Headway, and our professional network
- Regular clinical consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Access to psychiatric providers for appropriate shared clients
- Opportunity to develop groups, workshops, couples/relational services, and other specialty programs
- Opportunity to train in and potentially provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP)
- An established practice and brand without having to build every component of a solo practice yourself
The Role
We're looking for a clinician interested in building and maintaining an average caseload of approximately 18 completed clinical sessions per week.
You will have significant autonomy over your schedule, therapeutic approach, and areas of specialization while practicing within a collaborative professional community.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual, couples/relational, family, and/or group psychotherapy within your training and scope
- Assessing clients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining timely documentation consistent with clinical, ethical, legal, and insurance requirements
- Coordinating care with other Innerbloom clinicians when appropriate
- Participating in periodic clinical consultation and team collaboration
- Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and independent clinical judgment
Who We're Looking For
Applicants must be independently licensed to practice psychotherapy in South Carolina, such as:
- LPC
- LISW-CP
- LMFT
- Licensed Psychologist
- Other appropriate independently licensed behavioral health professional
Applicants should have the ability and willingness to provide both in-person therapy at our Charleston office and telehealth services to clients throughout South Carolina.
We're particularly interested in therapists with experience or interest in areas such as:
- Anxiety and OCD
- Trauma and PTSD
- ACT
- EMDR
- Somatic approaches
- Mindfulness
- Couples and relationship therapy
- Perinatal/postpartum mental health
- Psychedelic integration
- Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is an important part of Innerbloom's clinical identity.
We believe ketamine can be most meaningful when used within a thoughtful therapeutic framework—not simply as a medication administered in isolation. Our approach emphasizes preparation, the therapeutic relationship, intentional medicine sessions, and integration of the experience into a client's ongoing life and treatment.
For therapists who are interested in this work, Innerbloom offers the opportunity to learn within an established KAP practice and, with appropriate training and experience, potentially participate in individual, couples, and group KAP.
Previous experience with ketamine or psychedelic-assisted therapy is not required. We are more interested in clinicians who bring strong therapeutic skills, curiosity, sound clinical judgment, and a genuine interest in understanding how non-ordinary states can be integrated responsibly into psychotherapy.
We're looking for someone who is clinically grounded, reliable, self-directed, curious, collaborative, and interested in practicing somewhat differently from a traditional high-volume mental health agency.
About Innerbloom
Innerbloom Healing Arts is an interdisciplinary mental health and wellness practice in Charleston, South Carolina.
Our work includes psychotherapy, psychiatry, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and integrative approaches to mental health and wellness.
We're interested not only in symptom reduction, but in helping people build meaningful lives, deepen relationships, connect with their values, and become more fully themselves.
We value evidence-informed care, clinical rigor, curiosity, creativity, autonomy, and thoughtful exploration of emerging approaches to mental health.
We practice with rigor and warmth—and we don't take ourselves too seriously.
Compensation & Contractor Structure
This is a 1099 independent contractor position compensated at 60% of collected session revenue, rather than a salaried position.
The estimated annual compensation range above is based on typical reimbursement and caseload assumptions and is not guaranteed. Actual compensation depends on completed sessions, payer mix, collections, and participation in additional services.
- Target caseload of approximately 18 completed clinical sessions per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Hybrid in-person and telehealth practice
- Furnished office space provided without separate rent
- Insurance credentialing and billing facilitated through Headway
- Contractors maintain their own professional liability insurance
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, retirement, and benefits
Additional opportunities may be available for clinicians interested in KAP, groups, couples work, workshops, private-pay specialty services, and development of new Innerbloom programs.
If you're looking for the independence of private practice but would rather build it alongside thoughtful clinicians than completely on your own, we'd love to hear from you.
