Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Accountant position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting for Hirschi Masonry Nevada and Hirschi Companies.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Bank reconciliations and various treasury functions, including cash flow management between various bank accounts and entities.
Bank deposits, accurate applications of deposits made, bank issue uploads and approvals.
Tax compliance payments and management.
Maintenance of various spreadsheets to support financial transactions and analysis of various expenses.
Assist in preparation of audit work papers for year-end audits with outside auditors.
Assist in executing company internal control policies and procedures.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Controller and VP of Finance.

MUST HAVE — REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must have at least 2-4 years of direct work experience as an accountant, public or private industry.
Must have a sound understanding of financial reporting.
Detail oriented and demonstrates a positive attitude.
Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.
Must have a BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other type of related field of study.
Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
CPA preferred.
Pass mandatory drug test required.
Must be able to read and write in English and/or Spanish at a level sufficient to follow safety instructions, complete required documentation accurately, and communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.

NICE TO HAVE — PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

CPA certification.
Experience with Vista Viewpoint or other construction accounting software.
Experience in construction industry accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Financial accuracy: completes bank reconciliations and treasury functions with consistent precision.
Analytical thinking: interprets financial data and identifies discrepancies requiring correction.
Tax compliance: processes tax payments accurately and by required deadlines.
Organization: manages multiple entity accounting tasks and close processes simultaneously.
Communication: coordinates effectively with Controller, VP of Finance, and cross-functional teams.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
