Job Overview

We are seeking energetic, dependable, and hospitality-focused team members to join our Front of House Support Team as Host, Food Runner, or Busser, allowing you to play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

Whether you're greeting guests at the door, delivering hot food from the kitchen, or keeping the dining room clean and organized, you'll help ensure our restaurant operates efficiently during every shift. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives as part of a team, and takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality.

Duties

Host Responsibilities

Welcome every guest immediately with a genuine smile and friendly attitude
Manage waitlists, reservations, and seating while balancing server sections and restaurant pacing
Communicate accurate wait times and keep guests informed throughout their visit
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist guests with reservations and takeout orders
Enter phone orders accurately into the POS system
Coordinate third-party delivery orders (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) and ensure timely driver handoffs
Assist guests with takeout order pickups

Food Runner Responsibilities

Deliver food quickly, accurately, and safely from the kitchen to guests
Verify every plate for accuracy, presentation, and completeness before leaving the kitchen
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to resolve order issues promptly
Assist with beverage refills, condiments, and guest requests
Ensure food reaches guests hot and in a timely manner

Busser Responsibilities

Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room, patio, lobby, and service stations
Assist with pre-bussing tables during guest meals
Restock service stations with plates, silverware, napkins, cups, and condiments
Support servers and bartenders by maintaining clean, organized work areas

Side Work & Station Responsibilities

Complete all opening and closing side work as assigned
Sweep, mop, and sanitize assigned areas
Restock menus, to-go supplies, silverware, condiments, and service stations
Roll silverware and maintain required par levels
Maintain cleanliness of the host stand, lobby, expo line, dining room, and beverage stations
Assist with overall restaurant cleanliness and organization

Skills

Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required
Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent guest service skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Basic familiarity with POS systems is a plus
Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Nights, weekends, and holiday availability
