Full Job Description

The majority of the of the plastic injection molds will be made out of aluminum for small production runs/ we use China for any steels molds.

Must have the following experience.

Proficiante in using Mastercam.

Run operate CNC milling machines.

Must have experience in building plastic injection molds from beginning to end.

Must have experiance in operate general manual machine shop equipment (Bridgeport mills, Lathes, Grinders) and support equipment.

Must be able to read and comprehend mold drawings, files and part prints.

Must be capable of constructing, altering, maintaining and/or repairing Plastic Injection/ blow molds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY:

Is responsible for the overall construction and quality of the project.

Reviews mold designs and attend planning meeting.

Operate general manual machine shop equipment (Bridgeport mills, Lathes, Grinders) and support equipment.

Provide drawings and/or written instructions to mold makers / machinist specialists on how to perform the required task.
