Job Summary

Join the Bear Lake Reserve culinary team as a Line Cook and help create outstanding dining experiences for our guests. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to prepare quality dishes, maintain kitchen efficiency, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

We’re looking for a dependable, motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with ingredient prep, portioning, and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organization at all stations and kitchen areas
Collaborate with the Head Chef and team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Monitor food freshness, portion control, and consistency
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
Support inventory management by tracking supplies and alerting supervisors as needed
Uphold Bear Lake Reserve’s standards of professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality

Qualifications

1+ year of prior restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Excellent communication and time management skills
Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and teamwork
Reliable transportation or ability to relocate to Tuckasegee, NC 28783 prior to starting
Flexible availability, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
