Full-Time | $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Paul Delima Coffee Company, a growing wholesale coffee roaster and packaging operation, is expanding our production capabilities with new, state-of-the-art K-Cup packaging lines. We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to run and maintain highly automated, robotic packaging equipment in our Syracuse facility.

This role is ideal for operators who enjoy technology-driven manufacturing, advanced troubleshooting, and taking ownership of complex production systems.

Position Overview

Senior Machine Operators will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated K-Cup packaging lines, including robotics, vision systems, and computer-controlled machinery. Operators play a key role in ensuring efficiency, quality, and uptime while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and oversee robotic and automated K-Cup packaging equipment
Perform advanced machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments
Monitor machine performance and proactively troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues
Interpret HMI screens, alarms, and production data
Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards
Document production data, downtime, and corrective actions
Train or support less experienced operators as needed

Qualifications & Experience

2+ years of experience operating automated or computer-controlled manufacturing equipment
Experience with robotics, automation, or high-speed packaging lines strongly preferred
Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working with HMIs, sensors, and automated systems
Ability to manage multiple processes in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Experience

Experience operating robotic or highly automated packaging lines
Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment or automated control systems
Familiarity with vision systems, sensors, and servo-driven machinery
Experience in food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturing environments
Background supporting or coordinating with maintenance teams on advanced troubleshooting
Experience with continuous improvement, line optimization, or efficiency initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
Health & Dental Insurance: Company pays 80% of group premiums
Coverage begins the 1st of the month following start date
