OPS Administrative Assistant

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of OPS Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do
The OPS Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Student Affairs daily operations by providing administrative assistance that ensures timely communication, accurate record-keeping, and a positive experience for students and campus partners.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Ensuring courteous communication with students, parents, and campus partners.
Accurately completing clerical work.
Maintaining strict confidentiality.
Performing additional duties as needed to support daily operations.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of related experience.
Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work accurately. Proficiency in using spreadsheets and working with budgets.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
