Full Job Description

Job Title: Operations Utility & Equipment Specialist

Location: Springfield, IL

Pay Range: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (Based on experience)

The Role: We are looking for a high-capacity individual to serve as the "linchpin" of our daily operations. You aren't just a delivery driver; you are the person who ensures our field teams never stop moving. If a machine breaks, you’re there. If a crew needs materials, you’ve already delivered them. If the shop needs organization, you own it.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Support: Rapidly respond to equipment breakdowns; perform field recoveries and basic on-site troubleshooting.
Logistics: Execute material deliveries, pick up parts orders, and transport equipment between job sites and the shop.
Fleet & Equipment Maintenance: Assist with preventative maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, cleaning) and minor repairs on mowers, trucks, and handheld equipment.
Shop Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.
General Utility: Execute "everything in between" to eliminate friction for the production teams.

Requirements:

Problem Solver: You don't wait to be told what to do; you see a gap and fill it.
Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of small engines and equipment repair is required.
Clean Driving Record: You will be operating company vehicles and trailers daily.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Reliability: This role is the backbone of our efficiency. If you aren't here, the system slows down.
