Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive dance, gymnastics, and physical activity curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Lead engaging dance classes that incorporate choreography
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Guide students in developing their skills in dancing
- Maintain safety standards during all activities, including gymnastics exercises and movement-based lessons
- Keep detailed records of student attendance
Skills
- Proven classroom management abilities to foster a respectful and motivating environment
- Knowledge of teaching dance and gym to preschool children
- Familiarity with choreography and dance instruction techniques for various styles
- Childcare experience combined with early childhood education knowledge for preschool or kindergarten settings
