Job Overview
We’re looking for a high-output Videographer / Short-Form Content Creator to join Jason Watson’s media team in Scottsdale.
This is NOT just a camera operator position.
We need someone who understands social media, short-form content, storytelling, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling.
You’ll work closely with Jason and our team to film and create a high volume of content around entrepreneurship, fitness, business, leadership, and personal development.
The environment moves fast. We create a lot. We test a lot. And we’re constantly looking for ways to make the content better.
If you love social media and want to build content around a growing personal brand, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
- Film Jason for short-form content, lifestyle content, podcasts, events, and social media
- Edit high-volume short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook every single day
- Turn raw ideas and conversations into strong short-form videos
- Help develop better hooks, topics, angles, and content ideas
- Capture intentional B-roll that helps tell the story
- Help plan and execute content shoots
- Organize footage and maintain a fast content workflow
- Work closely with the media team to constantly improve content
- Stay current with trends and what is working on social media
What We're Looking For
You should understand more than editing software.
You should understand CONTENT.
You know why the first 3 seconds matter.
You can watch a video and understand why someone would keep watching—or scroll.
You understand:
- Hook + Hook stacking
- Storytelling
- Retention
- Pacing
- Social media trends
- Personal branding
- Entrepreneurship content
- Coaching / education content
You should already consume content from entrepreneurs, business owners, coaches, and personal brands.
We want someone who is in the game, not someone trying to learn social media from scratch.
Qualifications
- Strong videography skills
- Strong short-form editing skills
- Experience with professional cameras and audio equipment
- Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Highly organized with footage and projects
- Strong communication
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Able to work in person in Scottsdale, Arizona
Experience creating content for entrepreneurs, coaches, creators, or personal brands is a major plus.
