Full Job Description

Bingham Nerve and Muscle is seeking a qualified and motivated NCS Technologist to join our team. You’ll work alongside our physician to perform high-quality nerve conduction studies for patients with neuromuscular conditions. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on, patient-centered healthcare role. An on-the-job training program is available, making this an ideal position for those new to the field or seeking to build their expertise in Nerve Conduction Velocities.

Job Summary:

Perform routine and complex Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS) under physician supervision
Assist with preparation for Electromyography (EMG)
Prepare patients for testing; explain procedures clearly and compassionately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment
Maintain the patient's safety through NCV testing
Enter patient data and test results into EMR systems (training provided)
Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Friendly
Reliable
Good communication skills are essential for this position.
Efficient administration and clinical operation policies.
Intermediate computer literacy skills and keyboard proficiency is required.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Must be willing to be flexible in terms of hours and traveling. Occasional Saturday morning appointments.

Education, Experience and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Will consider a neurodiagnostic technologist interested in training in Nerve Conduction Studies.
Prior experience in neurodiagnostic testing or a related healthcare field.
Certificated Nerve Conduction Technologist (C.N.C.T. or R.NCS.T ) is a plus, but not required.
