Full Job Description

Title: Production Supervisor

Reports to: Assistant Plant Manager

Job purpose: Ensure the manufacturing process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. Direct, train, and assist lower-level production workers. Ability to provide support for the manufacturing facility in various functions based on business needs.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Areas of responsibility: Robo Pack, Filler, Sacmi Labeler and Palletizer:

· Supervise operations within the facility to achieve higher output.

· Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team

· Ensuring compliance with safety

· Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals

· Evaluating various production stations to ensure optimum efficiency

· Maintain communication between employees and management to ensure procedures and policies are understood

· Operates machines in areas of responsibility as assigned or as situation dictates (rotating breaks/lunches etc.)

· Maintains a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policy

Qualifications:

· Thorough understanding of applicable processes and procedures

· Operating knowledge of equipment in areas of responsibility

· Excellent organization, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and strong work ethic

· Ability to create and adhere to production processes

· Ability to motivate others to meet demands established by the schedule

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Basic Math skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and willing to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift to 50 lbs

· Pushing/pulling/bending/twisting

· Ability to stand more than 50%

Environmental requirements:

· Ability to work in extreme temperatures

· Light exposure to processing chemicals
